Single-side coated copper foil tape is divided into single-conductor copper foil tape and double-conductor copper foil tape. Single conductor copper foil tape means that the coated surface is not conductive. Only the other side of the copper is electrically conductive; dual conductor copper foil tape means that the coated surface is electrically conductive and the copper itself is also electrically conductive. This is why model cutting tapes are called dual conductor tapes, i.e. both sides are conductive.
